Start in 3 steps
- Connect Strava, or Apple Health in the iOS app.
- Pick a goal (a race, or just getting fitter) and the days you can run.
- Run. Kurro learns from every run and keeps your plan up to date.
How your plan adapts
Your plan updates after every sync and every night. Miss a run, run more, or feel tired, and the coming days change to match.
Want to know why something changed? Open “What changed & why” on your plan, or tap “Why this workout?” on a session.
Fit it around your life
In your training preferences you choose how many days you run, which days you can't train, and your long-run day.
You can also set rules per weekday, like no speed work on Monday or at most 45 minutes on Wednesday. The plan always respects them.
Busy period? Turn on maintenance mode: easy running only, until the date you pick.
Goals & realistic times
Set your own target time, or let Kurro aim for the best time you can realistically reach.
Your target time assumes you follow the rest of your plan. It always comes with a range, because no prediction is exact.
If a target is out of reach, the plan tells you and trains a pace you can actually reach.
What your numbers mean
- Fitness: the training you built up over recent weeks.
- Fatigue: how tired you are from the last few days.
- Form: fitness minus fatigue. High means fresh, low means tired.
- VO₂max: an estimate of your aerobic engine.
- Training load: how hard a run was, so different runs can be compared.
- Training zones: your personal paces and heart-rate zones, kept in step with your fitness.
Recovery & readiness
With health data from your watch (sleep, HRV, resting heart rate), Kurro shows how recovered you are.
With Kurro Pro, that also changes your plan: today's session can be eased back or swapped for a recovery run.
Race predictions
Kurro estimates your 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon times from your best recent runs.
Each time has a confidence label. Without enough recent evidence for a distance, we show nothing rather than guess.
AI coach
Ask the coach about your training. It knows your plan, your goal and how you are doing.
It can suggest changes, but nothing changes until you confirm. It gives no medical advice.
You can also connect Claude or ChatGPT in Settings → External access. Changes made there apply right away, without a confirmation step in Kurro.
Kurro Pro
Kurro is free. The free plan is a full adaptive plan, and we never make it worse on purpose.
- Free: an adaptive plan for one goal, Strava and Apple Health sync, your target time with its range, watch export, your weekday preferences, and a limited AI coach.
- Kurro Pro: a plan that learns from your body and your race results, recovery-based changes to your sessions, the full AI coach, and Claude or ChatGPT that can also make changes for you.
- Pro costs €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year. Try it free for 14 days.
- Buy it in the iOS app through the App Store, or on the web. Pro belongs to your account, so it works on both. Cancel where you bought it.
Settings & privacy
Theme, accent colour and units (km or miles) only change how the app looks. They never change your plan.
The weekly email is off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Notifications.
Disconnecting Strava deletes your Strava activities and the history built from them. You can't undo this.
In Settings → Manage consent you can withdraw consent for health data or the AI coach, without deleting your account.
What Kurro is (and isn't)
Kurro builds running plans. Rides, swims and walks still count as training, but there are no triathlon plans.
Pregnant? Pause your plan and follow the advice of your doctor or midwife.
